We welcome you to this fantastic sale with an exciting array of banknotes from China, Russia, Asia and Europe, featuring two premier collections: "The East Bay Collection of International Banknotes" and "The Eduard Kann Chinese Banknote Collection."


The East Bay Collection is believed to be the largest collection of international banknotes ever to come to market. Assembled over the course of 40 years by a private collector in Northern California, it consists of more than 30,000 notes representing over 150 countries. The scope of this collection is absolutely wonderful in both quantity and quality. This sale features the Chinese and related Asian banknotes and Russian and European banknotes from this fantastic collection.


The Eduard Kann Chinese Banknote Collection is the exceptional collection of the world’s leading authority on Chinese coins and the Chinese monetary system, consisting of more than 500 banknotes.


Please note the pre-sale Internet bidding ending times for each session as listed on this page. And don’t forget that this sale will go to live floor bidding October 27 – 28 at the Hilton Times Square in New York City. For those of you attending the sale, the session start times are as follows: Session One will begin at 10:00 am EDT on Monday, October 27; and Session Two will begin at 10:00 am EDT on Tuesday, October 28.
