<B>Amazing Collection of American Space Shuttle Program Patches</B></I> consisting of approximately 90 pieces, beautifully and archivally displayed under Plexiglas in two large walnut frames of 36" x 42". Individually, all are 4" in diameter or larger with many shapes and designs represented. The idea of unique mission patches was introduced by Gordon Cooper and, since Gemini 5, there has been a unique patch designed for each and every U.S. space mission. We noticed no duplication and all are in excellent condition. Of note is the patch for Challenger mission STS-51 which disintegrated 73 seconds into its flight on January 28, 1986.
