This is a very unique group of receipts for Dakota Territory just dealing with tobacco merchants.  With a total of 34 stubs and 1 tax collector checklist signed by John Pennington.  Pennington’s collector stamp mark appears on all the stubs. All the stubs were issued between March 1, 1883 to March 28, 1883 and have very little wear.
