Among the items included are: <B>Sam Walter Foss (1858-1911)</B></I>- 1903 TLS regarding his poem "The House by the Side of the Road", a printed copy included; <B>Rev. William Wye Smith</B></I>- a signed fair copy of "No Sae Far Awa'"; <B>Arthur Penrhyn Stanley (1815-1881)</B></I>- from this Dean of Westminster comes a three page signed fair copy of "The Untravelled Traveller"; <B>Lucy Larcom (1824-1893)</B></I>- a signed note and a manuscript of a likely unpublished poem "Mountains and Prairies"; <B>James Rowe (1865-1933)</B></I>- three signed quotes; <B>Alice Cary (1820-1871)</B></I>- signed and dated quote; <B>Marion Crawford</B></I> (assumed)- manuscript fair copies of the lyrics to four popular songs written by Crawford and Frederick Nicholls Crouch- "Kathleen Mavourneen," "Dermot Astore," "Their Marriage," and "Death of Dermot." Most have typewritten transcripts included and some have biographical information.
