For your consideration is this Collection of Late 19th C Copper Kettles. These copper kettles are of good craftsmanship; a typical copper teakettle from this period would be tinned inside, have a gooseneck spout, a brass lid, and a hinged handle—on nicer teakettles, the handle’s outline resembled a chef’s hat. Both kettles are in good condition showing the normal wear for the time period showing dents and patina all around the body and the body's seam. The handles are different with the first kettle showing an arched pivoting flat banded handle. The second shows a Victorian style hollow cylindrical handle. The finial on either of these copper kettles are unique to their design as well; one showing multiple graded steps and the second showing two ripples leading to the re-welded acorn on top. The measurements of these kettles are 9 1/4" x 11" x 6 1/2"; and the second kettle measures 10 1/2" x 11" x 7 1/2"
