Collection of four military guidon poles from the collection of Old Tucson Studios founder Robert Shelton, including: one used in John Wayne's 1960 film The Alamo, measuring 93? long, with a black body and pointy silver-painted tip, featuring three pennants in green, white, and red (the colors of the Mexican flag); and three used in the 1986 television miniseries Dream West, measuring 96? long, with black bodies and gold-painted round toppers, all featuring single red pennants with golden Mexican crests depicting a bird holding a snake in its beak. In very good to fine condition, with scattered paint loss, and one of the poles from Dream West cracked in half.
