1) Military firearm books from the early American Wars through World War I, World War II and into the present, including "The Airborne Soldier" by John Weeks and "The Standard Directory of Proof Marks" by Gerhard Wirnsberger. 28 books, mostly hardcover. 2) 13 books on arms, armor, and edged weapons including a signed and numbered copy of "Blades and Barrels" by H. Gordon Frost. 3) 11 paperback books of collections including nine from Sotherby & Co. on "Highly Important Firearms from the collection of the late William Goodwin Renwick." The auction was held Monday, 17th July, 1972. 4) Seven books on British arms. 5) Five reference books on guns and small arms. 6) "Fireworks: A Gunsite Anthology" by Jeff Cooper, "A Study of Colt's New Army and Navy Pattern Double Action Revolvers 1889 to 1908" by Robert Best. 7) Six books on semi-automatic pistols, including one on Beretta pistols, one of French 1935 pistols, "U.S. Military Automatic Pistols 1894-1920" by Meadows, and three on Colt .45 and Model 1905 pistols. All books are in good or better condition, with the exception of a few book bindings/covers.
