Colonel Charles (Charlie) Goodnight was on e of the most important figures in the epic history of The Great American West. A cowboy, early Texas Ranger and frontier trailblazer, Goodnight was also the founding father of the U.S. cattle industry. In the later part of the 19th century he built one of the great American ranches-the legendary JA- which spread over a million acres of Texas. This custom framed collector's piece features a great photograph of the Colonel with one of his prized buffalo, a wonderful biography and a Texas Rangers badge handmade from a Mexican cinco peso coin.
