A group of 5 photographs by Cohen of the aftermath of the San Francisco fire. All images signed in negative and stamped on verso with hand-annotated number and title as follows: 2547 Door of Grace Church; 2506 Vestry St. Paul's; 2527 Front WH Crooker House; 2486 Olympic Club and 2541 Flood House.
Cohen was active from 1898 and worked almost exclusively in California. Although he traveled extensively to Yosemite and to the California missions he was best known for his 5 x 7 views of the California Earthquake.
