The complete title for both is as stated, "The Codes And Statues of Montana. In Force July 1st, 1895. Including The Political Code, Civil Code, Code of Civil Procedure and Penal Code. Reported By D.S. Wade, F.W. Cole and B.P. Carpenter, Code Commission. As Amended and Adopted by the Fourth Legislative Assembly Together with other Laws Continued in Force. Compiled by D.S. Wade, Commissioner." Vol. I was annotated by Edwin S. Booth and from the Inter Mountain Publishing Co., Printers Butte, Montana in 1895 (copyright by Booth in 1895). Vol. II was annotated by Fletcher Maddox and from the Standard Publishing Co., Printers Anaconda, Montana in 1895 (copyright by Maddox 1895). Rare museum quality Law books from the early Montana statehood days, only six years after receiving statehood. Each book is 7.25"x10 3/8" and 3.5" thick.
