Rare Native American Cochiti-Zuni Sterling Silver and Nevada Green Turquoise Bolo Tie by David Taliman (1902-1967), slide measures 1.5'' x 1.5'', sterling aglets are hand stamped and 1 is bent, leather tie is well worn and has damage, FYI: ''Active mid 1930's--1967. Jewelry: silver, copper, ketoh, hair clips, and hollowware. Silversmith with Fred or Frank Peshlakai in California, then at Maisel's and with various shops in Santa Fe, including Southwest Arts & Crafts. He became an independent silversmith beginning in the late 1940's. Taliman made jewelry designed by Bill Ilfeld, using stones from Ilfeld's lapidary collection.'' (Batkin, 2008) (Bille Hougart 2014)
