<B>COBALTLAN CALCITE WITH DRUZY PYRITE</B></I><BR><BR> <I>Bou Azzer, Bou Azzer District, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate, Souss-Massa Draâ, Morocco</B></I><BR>Sharp, globular calcite crystals, colored bright pink by the incorporation of cobalt into the calcite structure, are grouped randomly across a druzy, metallic pyrite layer. The combination is odd for this locality, but the effect is quite esthetic. There is typical minor damage to the edges but the overall effect is still quite attractive. Rob Lavinsky Label.
