Lot of 4. Santa Rita, NM 1) W.H. Acklin coupon books (3). Each with 25c, 10c, and 5c coupons. All unissued/unused. Black on yellow. 5" x 2". Valedon, NM: 2) Roll of "85 Co-operative" coupons: "Where Your Dollar Goes Farthest, Produce Headquarters" printed across face. With short adverts for Hill Bros. Coffee and Denver Flour. 4" diameter x 1.75". Valedon was known for its diverse ores. Gold, silver, and copper were all mined here until the early 1930s. At one time, the town boasted over 2000 residents [ghosttowns.com]. Santa Rita on the other hand was moved to make way for the large open pit mining operation there.
