This old bluing bottle features a white, blue, and red label with a cute sailor boy on it. The front reads, " CO-OP brand Condensed Bluing, contents 2 oz., packed for Co-operative Wholesale, Inc., Chicago, Illinois." The back of the bottle boasts that it makes clothes snow white and will not stain or streak; it makes a good writing ink too. I believe it dates to the 1920s-30s. The label is intact with clear lettering, although there is a small area on the back where the label is torn off. The bottle has its original metal lid, which is a brass color and a little scratched. This is a great laundry collectible. I have other ink bottles and interesting household bottles for sale, so please check out my other items!
