***REASONABLE BEST-OFFERS CONSIDERED PRE-AUCTION OR DIRECT PURCHASE - ITEMS TO BE SOLD VIA THIS VENUE ONLY (PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST OFF-VENUE SALE)! Item/Description: Vintage Western Germany-era ?Clown Rider Riding a Unicycle? Motion ?Action? Toy in Original Box (great Graphics)
***In each hand he holds two weighted sticks which balance him while he is pedaling his cycle along a string ?tightrope? suspended between two points (the box shows the little boy holding one end of the string while the other end is attached to a door handle knob) - he does require replacement string
Age/Period: Vintage - ca 1940s
Manufacturer/Identification/Markings: Made in Western Germany
Material(s)/Format: Tin - Celluloid Plastic and Tin; Balancing Weights - Wood and Metal
Size/Measurements:
Condition: Clown - Very Good and Functioning (we tested him using regular string), remaining vividly colorful. His clothes are very clean. His facial details are very crisp. His celluloid plastic face is not cracked. Noted condition factors are minor damage to a portion of the brim of his top hat. There is no ?tightrope? string, and whether or not any came with him to begin with is undetermined. According to the box exterior graphics, it looks as if nothing more than ordinary string is used to serve as his ?tightrope?, which is what we tested him with.
