Lot of five. 1) Copper King Mining Company stock certificate. Number 974 for 50 shares to M. Pribble trustee in 1891. Signed by by secretary Prible and president Pribble (keeping it all in the family!). Above ground mining vignette of a hoist and bucket. No real condition issues: Pinholes, discoloring, rips or tears. Dog ear upper right which doesn't seem to have broken the peper. 2) New England and Clifton Copper Company of Arizona. Number 1649 for four shares. In English and French. Signed by E Rollins Morsy and CE Pippin(?). All coupons are attached. Again in near perfect condition. The Clifton and New England mining companies merged and created this new company. The New England company owned the Copper King (once again keeping it all in the family). The mine was northwest of Clifton about 5 miles and the opposite side of the San Francisco River. They had two shafts: 350' and 335'. The French text is probably explained by its many French investors. 3) "Where Copper is KIng, Clifton, Arizona" stereoview. Shows man and boy in front of rock home. In background is a 'Big Top' type tent. 4) "Loading Surface Ore, Metcalf Copper Mines, Arizona" stereoview. Men loading ore on an ore cart in front of a double tunnel. Both by Underwood and Underwood. 5) Postcard of Arizona's Copper Company General and Assay Offices in Clifton, Arizona.
