Fine. This book tells the story of the author's search for Captain Kidd's ship, the 'Adventure Galley,' off the coast of Madagascar. The search was complicated by another salvor, Dick Swete, who was searching nearby for John Paul Jones' ship, the 'Serapis' and managed to convince government officials that Clifford was there only to pillage the 'Adventure Galley'. Intertwined with the search story, is the biography of Kidd. In the end, both the 'Adventure Galley' and another pirate ship, the 'Fiery Dragon,' were located and partially excavated by Clifford..and Dick Swete died suddenly of malaria. Lot weight: 1 lbs 4oz.
