<B>Aviation Entrepreneur Cliff Henderson <I>Chateau Avion</B></I></B></I> <B>Photo Album.</B></I> A photograph album containing seventeen 10” x 8” black-and-white images of Cliff Henderson's <I>Chateau Avion</B></I> in Brentwood, California. The album, measuring 15” x 11.5”, contains professional interior and exterior images of Henderson's gorgeous California home. The detailed photographs provide a wonderful study of art, furniture and decorating styles of the 1940s modern style. The album may have been produced to facilitate the sale of the house as there is a one-page sales prospectus, dated February 15, 1946, laid in the front of the album. Noteworthy is the fact that Orson Welles and his new bride Rita Hayworth lived in the 10-room mansion shortly after they were married. Sadly the house has since been demolished to make way for “progress”. The album is a bit shaken but the photographs and internal contents are in very good condition. Included with the lot is a beautiful modern reproduction of the <I>Chateau Avion</B></I> logo. It is unknown who originally designed this evocative logo that graced the entry gates to Henderson's beautiful home.
