French pianist and composer of classical music (1888-1954). Partial musical manuscript on both sides of an off-white 10.5 x 13.75 musically-lined sheet. Part of a larger manuscript of the 1938 premiered comedie “La femme à barbe [The Bearded Lady],” with notations and possible lyrics. Some of the notations read: "The overlapping of roles will be easy for the Sultan - 3rd Hercules and the Soothsayer - Corinthine who have all the time…to change costume. The 3 Oriental dignitaries can earn…with respective ones of the 3 clowns provided by posting the above clown costume, Oriental costume. Those will be made up of…bariolin and colorful, and large turbans.” A bisecting horizontal fold, some scattered light toning and soiling, and a few creases, otherwise fine condition. RRAuction COA.
