Auction Details
Bolaffi Ambassador’s 7th numismatic auction features a wide range of money ’s history, spanning from Roman coins to modern and contemporary ones, banknotes included.
We point out a wide coins’ selection of the entire Papal States age, from the Middle Age till the fall of the Church’s temporary power; within this selection there are great single items, both for their rarity and their quality. Among them there are also samples with a documented provenance of formerly belonging to prestigious collections.
Nonetheless also the auction chapters regarding modern numismatics are of high interest. For example there is one sample of the “100 Lire 1880” minted under Umberto I, which represents one of the greatest rarities of a specialized Italian Kingdom collection.
Within modern numismatics, the sale also includes a big selection of very important banknotes’ issues, including some very rare items that in recent years enjoyed a bright price rise.
As usual, the auction will end with a strong final section of multiple lots and collections, representing a great opportunity for professional dealers willing to refill their stocks and for collectors willing to close some gaps of their collections.
