<B>Charles E. Ives Signature</B></I> "<I>Chas. E. Ives</B></I>" in a shaky old-age script in ink on a 5.5" x 2" blue card. Above the signature is added "<I>With Kind Regards</B></I>" (likely written by his wife). Ives (1874-1954), though little appreciated during his lifetime, is now regarded internationally as one of the great American classical composers of the 20th century.
