Classic old tooled leather Western high back saddle maker-marked “R. C. Flick, Cuero, Tex” in overall well-worn fair condition with old repair to skirts, decorative leather rosettes, metal stirrups, a total of 9 makerstamp markings on the saddle, high saddle horn, some scattered stitching separation and losses to dryness, considerable underside fleece lining remaining; accompanied by an old multi-colored saddle blanket. A realpiece of early Texas cowboy history that would make a great display in any collector’s antique gunroom. From an old Texas collection. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
