Classic Turkish-style flintlock miquelet rifle, with fancy brass, dyed bone, and natural bone colored inlays. Barrel shows Spanish type hallmarks and portrait of horse with many Fleur de Lis around it, maker’scartouche shows crown, initial “A/Ped/Pet/JI”. The gun remains in good to very good condition showing a brown patina finish on the lock and barrel. Some scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprickpitting. The stock is good to very good with some minor dings, mars, small losses, imperfections. The inlays are 95% plus intact with a few small losses. A good quality early mideastern rifle which is approx. .70caliber. Approx. 49” overall with approx. 35-1/2” barrel. Est: $3,500 - $7,000
