Classic Sharps Model 1853 period engraved slant breech heavy barrel rifle, .52 cal., 26” octagon barrel measuring 1” across, double set triggers, engraved iron patchbox, California gunsmith-style fore stock withpewter fore end cap, copper base to fore stock and copper tipped wood ramrod, #9296. The engraving is deluxe and appears the work of one of the Youngs; the bore is good, the action and double set triggers are working,the wood is good and the metal surfaces show a pleasing dark patina; a real collector’s early Sharps rifle with a great look! Buyer is responsible for all costs of packing, shipping, special crating, exporter fees, duty and custom fees etc. We will ship all international shipments to an exporter for final shipping. We ship Federal Express, we can not ship to PO Boxes. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence.
