Classic Doubles side by side 410ga shotgun on Ithaca design, simulating highest grade with gold mermaid on triggerguard, relief gold inlays of dogs on each side of action, landing duck on bottom of frame surrounded by scroll with logo on bottom of frame, Ithaca Classic Doubles, Bloomfield, New York. The gun is marked EXP on triggerguard and serial #44786 on frame and barrels. The barrels measure slightly over 26” and are choked“Modified” (right) and “Full” (left). Blue and case hardened finish, English style straight pistol grip, fancy checkered select walnut stock with select burl wood grain, double triggers, auto ejectors. Stockmeasures 14-5/8” to the end of the wood, 14-7/8” to the end of the hard-rubber recoil pad. The gun is in fine to excellent original condition and the gun shows Italian proof marks from where it was made.
