Classic American custom rifle on 1917 Enfield action by P. O. Ackley, .458 caliber, (probably Ackley improved), showing straight grain, walnut stock, classic 1950’s styling, raised cheek piece, Schnabel forend, QD sling swivels, quick release floorplate, unmarked B&L type scope on Stith mounts. The rifle remains in fine to near excellent condition with 80-90% original blue in very good to near fine condition, some losses to the floorplate, normal use and handling, about very good overall. Action is good, bore excellent, showing a little use but well cared for and is very nicely stocked with clean lines. P.O. Ackley was well-known as a wildcat cartridge designer and barrel maker and this is the style of rifle he made in the 1950’s. NSNV. Should be chamber checked and test fired by a gunsmith as caliber is not specifically identified. Est: $600 - $1,200

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
