<B>Clarksville, TN</B></I> - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 625 <B>The First NB</B></I> Ch. # (S)1603<BR> This note passed from early paper money stalwarts William Philpott to Homer Brooks and then was sold in 1968 for $17.50 to C.E. Martin. The invoice for this sale from Brooks to Martin is included plus Homer's informational note tag. They spell out the above provenance while also relaying that the president of the FNB of Clarksville, C.W.
