Vintage matte-finish 3.5 x 3.5 candid photo, signed in the lower border in blue ink, “C. Gable.” Notation on reverse of the photo reads, “Clark Gable-9-30-38 10:30 AM, Vet Hosp. Mpls.” In fine condition, with a few minor edge creases, and a bit of trivial soiling to borders. A very nice one-of-a-kind image capturing Gable in his prime.
