To the unaided eye, this piece appears to be in very good condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals normal fluorescence of the artist's pigments. The piece is framed in a semi-ornate antiqued silver frame with a black panel, a linen liner, and an antiqued silver fillet. The frame is in good condition, showing normal signs of wear.
