Good. The barrel and cylinder have a once cleaned smooth gray patina with a darker gray on the loading lever and frame. The backstrap has a mottled gray patina with traces of original blue finish in the protected areas near the frame and butt. There is some minor pitting with areas of deep pitting on the barrel at the muzzle, cylinder, and left recoil shield. The cylinder retains about 20% of the engraving. The trigger guard retains approximately 30% original silver plating with the exposed brass having a fine aged patina. The grip is very fine with some minor dings and scratches, and a couple of small gouges, with most of the varnish remaining. Mechanically fine.
