Civil War era Starr percussion SRC, .54 cal., 21” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, brass barrel band and butt plate, wood stocks, #3878. This gun is in overall very good condition showing an even plum brownpatina to barrel and silvery toned receiver and hammer; good action, bore should clean to very good; replaced rear tang screw, “E.F.” inspection on left side of barrel at breech and “B” inspections on lower tang and leftside of rear sight; wood is overall fair to good with scattered old nicks, mars and scratches and an old loss to the lower toe of the butt stock.
