This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing an evenbrown patina on metal surfaces, strong rifling in bore, crisp action, rear sling swivel present, overall good wood showing lots of character wear, dings, mars and scratches; also a well done small sectionrepair to the right butt stock at the butt plate; good magazine, saddle ring and ring bar removed during period of use; a very desirable Spencer carbine as most available on the market today are of the Indian Wars20” barrel variety.
