Bond, London”, .577 cal., 39” barrel, full stocked, iron ramrod, brass trigger guard and butt plate, in un-cleaned condition, working action, overall good conditionwith initials “J.M.B.” carved into left side of stock above trigger and carving on right side of butt stock; the type of imported firearm Confederate forces would have sought.
