Civil War U.S. Martially Inspected Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver
Manufactured in 1863. Three screw frame cut for a shoulder stock and marked "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side. The barrel has the one line New York U.S. America address flanked by dashes. Inspector initials are stamped on the barrel, backstrap, trigger guard, and cylinder with illegible boxed cartouches stamped on each side of the one piece walnut grip. Matching serial number on barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap and wedge, with the naval scene roll engraved cylinder numbered to another gun (0751).

Condition: Good. Overall the revolver has a smooth dark brown patina with traces of original blue finish on top of the backstrap and the replaced cylinder retaining traces of the dark arsenal refurbished blue. The brass has an even aged patina. The grip is good with a couple minor chips near the toe and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically functions but is loose and "skips" occasionally.
