Very fine with 75% original high polish blue finish with light handling marks, edge wear and an attractive brown patina on the remainder. The hammer, trigger and loading lever retain about 80% of the casehardened finish with the balance a silver-gray patina. Markings are sharp. Excellent grips, with minimal wear and crisp inspection stamps. Mechanically excellent. A fine example of a union issued Civil War handgun.
