The top of the receiver is very faintly marked with the four line address/patent date and the serial number is marked on top of the receiver at the rear. Mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a saddle ring and bar mounted on the left wrist, sling swivel and iron buttplate.

Fair. The barrel has a brown and the remaining metal surfaces have a dark gray patina. Overall there is minor pitting, heaviest on the receiver and lever. The wood is also good with some tool marks on the rear of the forearm, crude letters, ("H" readable) on the right side of the stock, and overall minor dents, dings and scratches. The action is fine.
