Civil War Maynard carbine, .50 cal., 20” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood butt stock, #13807. This gun is in overall very good condition showing the majority of its muted original blue finish on the barrel with some scattered pinprick pitting, considerable muted original case colors on the receiver, crisp markings and action, very good bore, very good wood stock with some scattered mars and scratches from storage but two beautiful inspector’s cartouches on the left side of the stock wrist; the two forward frame screws have had their heads filed bright.
