Fine. The barrel retains approximately 30% original blue finish with the balance a mottled gray patina. The action has a mixed silver/gray patina with scattered traces of faded case colors. The buttplate has a smooth gray patina with some minor pitting (deeper on the tang). The reoiled stock is very fine with exception of some minor dings and a few gouges. The stock cartouches are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
