Civil War Martially Inspected Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver

Manufactured in 1863. The top of the barrel is stamped "-ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA-" and above the barrel wedge is marked with the letters "DD" on the left side. The three screw frame is cut for a stock and is marked "COLTS/PATENT" on the left side. The cylinder has the Texas Navy scene and the letters "D" and "D". The grip straps are stamped with the letter "H". Matching numbers are on the barrel, cylinder, arbor pin, barrel wedge and grip straps. The grip has a cartouche (very faint) stamped on each side.

Good. The revolver has an even smooth, crisp dark brown patina. Some minor pitting is present (mostly on the cylinder). Much of the cylinder scene remains. The grip is good with a chip missing near the bottom (left side), a series of pressure dents on the bottom and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
