Good. The barrel has a smooth gray patina with the remaining surfaces having a darker gray patina. There is extremely limited pin point pitting on the barrel and a patch of minor pitting on the trigger guard/lever. The stock is good with the exception of carved "JV" initials on both sides, a few deep gashes, some minor dings and gouges, and an absent chip near the toe.
