Civil War Era Colt Model 1860 Army Percussion Revolver in Wood Box
Manufactured in 1862, with a 3 screw frame cut for a shoulder stock. The top of the barrel has the one line "- ADDRESS COL. SAM'L COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA -" and "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side of the frame. Rebated cylinder with no visible scene. Matching serial number on the barrel, frame, and trigger guard. One-piece smooth walnut grip is an ill-fitting replacement. Gun is complete with a custom non-factory wooden case with brown lining and copper/ brass powder flask, cleaning accessories, lead balls and percussion caps.
