Very nice quilt. It was made by Onezime Hebert of Donaldsonville, Ascension, Louisiana in 1860 as signed. Wonderful early quilt. The applique is cotton, and silk is used for the red as shown. Several small areas of staining, and one flower repair as shown, a couple of the silk flowers show thinning. 60" by 84".
