Along with a nice vignette of Grant are included seven poems and/or songs, all honoring the fallen President-General. Titles include: "Death of Grant," "Grant's Monument," "A Hero's Death," "Faded Coat of Blue," "I Want To See Nellie Once More," "Columbia's Pride" (meant to be sung to the tune of "Hail To The Chief"), and "Prince of All Patriots" (meant to be sung to the tune of "The Star Spangled Banner"). Printed in black ink with a black border surrounding. The paper has toned to an even light brown but is not brittle. Distractions are few, consisting mostly of some light soiling and a couple of edge chops. A wonderful display piece.
