<B>Civil War Certificate of Donation</B></I>, 8.25" x 11.25", Boston, 1861. Issued by the City of Boston Committee on Military Donations to George Webster Terrill to certify his donation to "the soldiers who leave Boston under the requisition of the President of the United States." Decorated in red, white, and blue. The certificate, with original vertical center fold, has been adhered to a larger sheet of brown paper.
