Very good plus. Overall the carbine has a smooth brown patina with a mixed smooth brown and gray patina on the lock plate and frame. The lighlty sanded and reoiled wood is very good with a few minor gouges, some scattered minor dings and hand marked "WAR" visible on the buttstock. Mechanically fine.
