<B>Battle of Chickamauga Veteran John N. Haynes Effects.</B></I> A lot consisting of a 6.5" x 8" photographic image of Haynes taken post-Civil War, souvenir badges from the September, 1895 Chickamauga Monument dedication, including admission card, and 1908 G.A.R. 42nd Annual Encampment held at Lima, Ohio. Also included is a post-Civil War eagle button, G.A.R. medal, Ohio Elk's Lodge badge, and tie tack with the initial "H". Haynes was a 1st Sergeant in Company E, 74th Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. He is thought to have played a significant role during the battle at Chickamauga.
