<B>Circulation Magazine Special Comic Strip Edition (September, 1926) Condition: VG/FN.</B></I> For lovers of early newspaper strips, this is a real treasure trove! <B>Circulation</B></I> was a trade magazine marketed to newspaper editors, and this special edition focused almost entirely on comic strips. The cover unites quite a crew of strip favorites, featuring characters from <I>Bringing Up Father</B></I>, <I>Polly and Her Pals</B></I>, <I>Thimble Theater</B></I> (starring Castor Oyl, in the days before Popeye took over the strip), <I>Just Kids</B></I>, <I>Jerry On The Job</B></I>, <I>Tillie the Toiler</B></I>, and more, all flying on a magic newspaper page over a cityscape -- it's really something, reminiscent of a Winsor McCay <I>Little Nemo</B></I> strip. Inside, there are articles on various features, including George McManus' report on his tour of Japan, and lots of full-page strip reprints and ads.
