Circa 1991 Raymond Bourque Game Used Stick. Bourque consistently provided leadership from his spot on the Boston blue line. Through twenty seasons with the Bruins, twelve as team captain, Bourque dominated, earning 17 selections the NHL All-Star Game. He was also a five-time recipient of the Norris Trophy as the NHL's best defenseman, an honor only Bobby Orr and Doug Harvey have bested. In a memorable move, Bourque surrendered his original jersey number 7 during a December 1987 ceremony that honored Phil Esposito. At center ice in front of Esposito and the Boston faithful, Bourque removed his jersey to reveal a second Bruins sweater -- this one numbered "77." Esposito's number could then be retired as Bourque went on to establish the double seven as his own. From circa 1991 we present one of Bourque's game used sticks, a black Sher-Wood model with "Bourque 77" applied to the shaft. Light signs of use are apparent and the original taping remains at the blade and handle. Shaft has a small crack about 18" up from the blade. A supreme exemplar from the Hall of Famer.

Shipping: Bats, Clubs, Sticks, Swords, Rif (view shipping information)
