Simpson Game Worn Jersey & Cleats.</B></I> While the Hall of Fame running back is persona non grata throughout most of the sporting world following the horrific double-murder of his ex-wife and her friend, one can't help but assume that future generations will find Simpson to be one of the most fascinating 20th century sports figures, and will pay inordinate sums of money for artifacts such as these. So do your grandchildren a favor and bid on this jersey and cleats, worn by this slashing running back during his final years as a member of the San Francisco 49'ers. The white mesh jersey exhibits ample running back wear, with the shoulder area and "Wilson size 46" tail tag in particular exhibiting the results of tough, sweaty use. Simpson's preferred extra jersey length is evident here, and a nameplate removal suggests postseason practice use. The screened number "32" on chest, back and sleeves are, of course, present and accounted for however. The accompanying size eleven "Spot-Bilt" cleats, originally acquired from the same team source, show heavy wear and perfectly match photographs of Simpson from the era. The size (eleven) is also proper for the legendary rusher. Together this matched pair makes a terrific keepsake of one of the greatest, and certainly the most culturally significant, football players of all time.
