<B>Circa 1975 Carl Yastrzemski Game Worn Cap.</B></I> Just when the Boston Red Sox fans needed another hero in the wake of Ted Williams' 1960 departure, along came Yaz in the Spring of 1961 to carry them through the next two decades. A cap from the era of the club's 1975 American League pennant season makes a fine remembrance of the Beantown hero. It shows terrific wear, with number "8" penned in vintage marker to the underside of the visor. Headband tagging has been lost along the way, and the leather headband is split at the back. These factors do not affect display however, nor the tremendous historical importance of any gear once belonging to the Hall of Fame outfielder. <I>LOA from Lou Lampson.</B></I>
